I struggle with fruit. It’s incredibly hit or miss.
When it’s good, it can be mind blowing and nothing is better! Celestial candy, am I right? But, typically, more often than not, it’s a huge miss.
The sandy, gritty apple.
The orange that smells divine and you spend an hour peeling only to reveal a bland, dry, shriveled ball.
A cantaloupe, my personal favorite, that is perpetually over or under ripe – too soft and mealy or too hard and crunchy.
The tragedy is just that – I can never really hit the sweet spot.
