• Write about your favorite [something] — like animal, color, song, etc. Why do you like it?
• Write about shopping, buying, or owning things.

• If you had to do something fun with someone you didn’t really like, what would you do?
• Write about patriotism, national pride, or civic duty.
• Write about your worst day.

Writing 3

• Respond to this quote from President John F. Kennedy. Write about it in your own life. Agree? Disagree? “My fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.”
• Have you witnessed injustice, oppression, or discrimination recently? Toward you? Or someone else?
